Lee Thomas Miller was born in Nicholasville, Kentucky and earned a Bachelors degree in Music Theory/Composition from Eastern Kentucky University. He studied classical violin, guitar, piano and voice.
Miller has charted singles for almost 20 years. To date, seven of those singles have reached #1: “The Impossible” by Joe Nichols, “I Just Wanna Be Mad” by Terri Clark, “The World” by Brad Paisley, “You’re Gonna Miss This” by Trace Adkins, “I’m Still A Guy” by Brad Paisley, “Southern Girl” by Tim McGraw and “Perfect Storm” by Brad Paisley.
Miller is a three-time Grammy award nominee and has won many other major industry awards including “Song of the Year” at the Country Music Association awards, “Song of the Year” at the Academy of Country Music awards, as well as annual awards from Music Row Magazine, Nashville Songwriters Association International and BMI.
Lee has had success also as a record producer. He produced a pair of top 20 hits on recording artist Steve Holy including his 2006 #1 record “Brand New Girlfriend”
Lee lives in Brentwood, Tennessee with his wife Jana, and their 4 kids.
